One of the main fields of work of our studio in the last years have been the design of residential buildings starting from single dwelling houses of 1 or 2 storeys, to large condominium buildings up to 6 storeys both for private and social housing. The constructive systems are mainly Platfrom Frame or Xlam ( CLT ). Some of these buildings have been awarded as examples of eco-sustainable buildings and have attracted the interest of national and international media for their innovative features. In the design process our studio brought the experience gained in years of scientific research and testing which made us possible to find new and innovative structural solutions.

 

PRIVATE RESIDENTIAL BUILDING IN CORIANO- RIMINI

Two stories residential building with green roof. The walls and the floor are made of cross-laminated timber panels and the roof is wooden beams.

BUILDINGS IN RIVA DEL GARDA - TRENTO

Two three stories condominiums each containing 12 apartments made all with Xlam system. Also the lift and stair case are made with Xlam panels. The traditional roof structure is made with glulam beams.

6 STOREY BUILDING IN FLORENCE

The building will be made with reinforced concrete foundation and basement floor, a six storey structure entirely constructed in timber (including walls, inter-storey floors and roof, stairs and lift cores) with steel connections; traditional finishing with plaster and exterior cladding in wood-cement panels, gypsum wall board interior wall cladding, ceramic tiles flooring and gypsum ceiling

BUILDING FOR SOCIAL HOUSING IN CAPANNORI - LUCCA

Two stories building for a total of 5 apartments. This is the first case of social housing made with timber structures (Xlam system) in Tuscany. The heating system of each apartment is served by a geotermic plant. Hot water is provided by means of solar panels.

Two stories single family house made with Xlam panels and roof with glulam beams. The costruction is made of two strcturally separated bodies connected by a gangway at the fisrt sotrey.
