Timber Engineering conducted research activities on the structural behaviour of timber buildings within cooperations with national and international research institutes, by which he dealed with the design, conduction and numerical modelling of the most important experimental testing on real scale multi-storeywooden buildings made in the last years.

Particularly about scientific research our studio was involved, within a cooperation with CNR-IVALSA, in the design and performing of seismic testing on real scale buildings of 3 and 7 storeys made on the world's largest shaking table facilities in Japan and of the fire test an a 3 storey building in Japan (SOFIE Project).

Timber Engineering cooperates with FP Innovations Canada on researches about the seismic behaviour of multi-storey wood-frame buildings.

Members of Timber Engineering participated to many research works which have been showed in many national and international conferences and participated as speakers to many national and international meetings.
